The first Executive Board meeting took place in Frankfurt, Germany on January, the 16th & 17th, 2019.
In September 2018, the European Olympic Academies Association (EOA) was founded in Ljubljana (Slovenia) as an umbrella organization of 23 National Olympic Academies from Europe. During this first General Assembly, a President and six Executive Board Members were elected.
President: Prof. Dr. Manfred Lämmer (Germany)
Vice Presidents: Prof. Dr. Maria Bulatova (Ukraine) & Prof. Dr. Lozan Mitev (Bulgaria)
Secretary General: Mrs. Marion Guigon-Lacroix (France)
Treasurer: Mr. Ales Solar (Slovenia)
Additional Members: Dr. Sasa Ceraj (Croatia) & Dr. Ivans Klementjevs (Latvia)
Following the invitation from its first President, the members of the Executive Board were host by the German Olympic Academy for their first Executive Board meeting in Frankfurt on January 16-17 2019.
This was the opportunity to talk about the main purposes of this new organization, to implement first projects and set up administrative structures.
But it was especially the occasion for the board members to sign the application forms for the official registration process with the German legal authorities prepared by the notary Dr. Joachim HABETHA.
Now EOA officially begins its activity.
